Are you curious to try the dragon boat? This is the perfect opportunity to try this unique sport! Our dragon boat introduction program will teach you all the basics of this sport and make you live the experience of a competition. Whether you are in great shape or not, dragon boating is for you! The practice of this sport is accessible to everybody! The H2oplayground dragon boat initiation program will quickly build your confidence while preparing you for the next step: joining one of our intermediate or even advanced teams.
To start, no need to buy anything, H2o provides all the necessary equipment for the practice: paddles and a life jacket.
Dragon Boat 2024 initiation program.
There are two options, depending on the commitment you wish to make:
Option 1: 4-week initiation:
These packages are a great way to discover the sport of dragon boating. You’ll learn the basics of the sport. After your 4-week initiation, we’ll invite you to join one of our teams. We group our 4-week packages into two age categories: 49 and under and 50 and over.
Option 2: Full Season (16 weeks) Recreational:
Full-season Recreational package:
This package is the gateway to our H2o Intermediate program (community teams). It includes 16 training sessions of 60 minutes each, from mid-May to the end of September, and is designed for beginners and intermediates. No competition included in these packages. We will offer to be reserves for our community teams during competitions.

Montreal: Intro Full Season – May to September
Full season package with competitions. Our initiation program has been running since 2007 and has truly proved itself! A lot of our advanced level paddlers have started with this program.
At the end of this program you will have the opportunity to join either one of our intermediate or advanced teams.
